Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Manager in our Southampton or Isle of Wight offices.

As an Audit Manager in our Southampton or Isle of Wight offices, you will be assisting the partners in the management and delivery of statutory audit for our Owner Managed Business Client portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing the audit tests for high-risk areas
  • Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating, and reviewing work of trainees
  • Delivering information to clients in a timely manner while displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
  • Monitoring your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro-actively
  • Developing specialist sector knowledge and keeping abreast of industry developments

Experience

At least 1-2 years of experience in Auditing and experience in supervising and coaching junior members of staff

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, fully ACCA/ACA qualified

Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in client handling
  • Excellent analytical and review skills.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.

Although based in the Southampton or Isle of Wight offices, frequent travel to other offices will be required as well as across-office collaborative work with the audit team.
