The Moore Global network began as a small auditing, tax consulting and insolvency practice, Moore, Partridge and Co. set up in London by Harold Moore and Albert Partridge.
By the end of the First World War, Albert Partridge had left the business and Harold Moore formed Moore,Stephens & Co with John Robinson Stephens who had managed the firm while Harold served in the Royal Flying Corps.
The firm opened an office in Glasgow in 1921 and established Moore, Cross & Co. in Brazil a year later. Shortly afterwards, the firm started to develop close relations with the Greek shipping community, which continue to this day.
