Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded, qualified accountant(ICAEW/ACCA, minimum of 2 years’ PQE) to lead and manage our new FalklandIslands office. This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead a division within a global firm, in making a significant impact in a dynamic and excitingmarket.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Falkland Islands office
  • Develop and grow the local team, with support from Moore Dixon’s Isle of Man and Gibraltar offices
  • Responsible for recruiting and developing a full-time team of trainee and qualified auditors and accountants for the office.
  • Engage in strategic, board-level discussions and provide financial insights to key stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with clients, government officials, and community leaders within the Falkland Islands
  • Drive business performance and contribute to the firm’s growth in the region

Essential Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ideally gained from a Top 20 accountancy practice
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders (FDs, MDs, CEOs, government ministers and officials)
  • Commercial acumen and business development skills
