Tax Trainee
Job description
Main responsibilitieswill include:
- Preparing self-assessment tax returns
- Preparing CT600's
- Deal with clients by email, phone and in person
- Correspond with/call HMRC on behalf of clients
- Assist with the preparation of P11D forms
- Support management with ad hoc work
- Ensure that all work is completed accurately and in a timely
This a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly supportive team who will help you develop your tax knowledge & experience. The firm offer hybrid working and study support towards the ATT / CTA (or similar) qualification. The ideal candidate will currently be working as a Tax Assistant / Tax Trainee or Tax Junior.
EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE.
• At least five GCSEs grade 4-9 with a grade 6 or above (or equivalent) in English Language andMaths.
• At least three A levels at a minimum grade C or equivalent.
• You’ll alsoneed to have competent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• You must be able to live and work permanently in the UK.
ADDITIONALSKILLS.
• The rightcandidate will be able to: - deliver accurate work to deadlines - demonstrate acommitment to delivering a first-class service to clients - work as part of ateam - demonstrate excellent communications skills, both written and verbal -demonstrate good time management skills including prioritising
• A driving licence and access to transport is beneficial
